Rimmel London Lipstick

I wrote a review on my other blog regarding my collection of Rimmel London Lipsticks, a month ago. Since Vanity Cravings is offering Airy fairy and Nude Delight, I shall feature excerpts of my post to share with you my thoughts and views on these two colours.

Moisture Renew Lipstick

What it claims:

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick, infusion lip colour from Rimmel London. Beautiful colour starts with well-conditioned lips, Moisture Renew Lipstick is formulated with three superpower moisturisers – polypeptides, hyaluronic acid and natural collagen that deeply hydrate lips and improves their condition instantly and over time.

Ultimate Colour Indulgence with SPF 20 Protection. Caring colour complex of vitamin A, C & E, anti-oxidants and SPF 20 protects lips from everyday damage.

My Review:

I have to agree that the lipsticks from this range are moisturising. They glide very smoothly, very creamy and doesnt make my lips dry. It leaves a nice texture on my lips. The smell of the lipstick may be empowering to some. It has this flowery smell like jasmine but goes away after application. As for the colour, pigmentation is good but doesn’t stay for hours. I’m OK with that since I don’t mind the hassle of touching up.

Nude Delight

I have been looking for nude colours and when i saw this, I have to get it. It is a peachy nude that’s warm toned. Very wearable especially with the smokey eyes look. I love how the colour turns out on my lips. Doesn’t wash me out or make me look pale even though its close to skin colour. Its totally werable, for me. I would recommend Nude Delight for girls who loves Nude.

Lasting Finish Lipstick

What it claims:

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick promises vibrant, high-shine colour that lasts for up to seven hours. Combines a very high level of colour pigments with wear-enhancing, high-shine polymers to ensure locked-in colour with ultra shine. The creamy texture incorporates natural moisturising oils and emollients and antioxidant vitamins C and E, resulting in supple, comfortable wear.

My Review:

The colours for this range are intense and pigmented. They are moisturising as well and doesn’t give that dry feeling on the lips. I like the smell of this range, it smells like strawberry-cream chupa chupps.

Airy Fairy

The ‘oh-so-famous-totally-raved-about’ lip colour among all of Rimmel’s lipstick. Everyone would love to have their lips with this, including me. I love the lipstick, be it alone or layering with gloss. In my opinion the colour will look pale on dark skin tone as it’s more to the lighter side of pink, mauve pink. But if you can ROCK IT! why not?

As a safe guideline, the colour will look pretty if your skin ranges from fair (yellowish fair, not white fair) to golden tanned (not toasted), if you know what I mean. I shall not type too much about this lipstick, if not, I feel like I’m repeating what others have reviewed about it.

Overall:

I L.♥.V.E Rimmel’s range of lipstick. I don’t mind purchasing them as long as I’m attracted to the colours. Alas, these colours are not available in Singapore and the range offered here are non of my likings. If only Singapore would provide a wider range with all the raved about colours….

So ladies, I am making these 2 colours easily reacheable for you. It is just within a few clicks of the mouse and I will send it directly to your mailbox. Aren’t you tempted??
